After reading
Regina's book and writing a resume that highlighted my sales
achievements I applied for an internal position. My supervisors
complimented me extensively on my resume and promoted me from
Sales Rep to Sales Manager--with a 50% salary increase. I
would have never achieved such a promotion without the strategies
I learned in Regina's book. Several years later, I'm still referring
to Regina's book to update my resume and each time I find something
new to improve. The most recent promotion I received resulted
in a salary package increase of nearly 23%! Thanks
again, |

Following your advice I revamped
my resume and used targeted headings to match a job I wanted.
Within a week I received an interview with Microsoft for an
International Manufacturing Management position. The interviewer
said I was one of three applicants selected to interview out
of over 400 resumes they received. I then went on to interview
for a second, higher level position. In the end I didn't get
that position but did accept a comparable position at a 10%
salary increase. Both experiences say much about the effectiveness
of the Proven Resumes System. This has really boosted my confidence! |

Working with you and using the
resume style on page 141 of your book, I landed a $40,000
position as a Business College Director. Part-time receptionist
had been listed as the second job on my old resume even though
I had won 2 cars as a Sales Manager. You showed me how to maximize
my sales achievements and make an impressive career move to a
corporate position. |

I'm Regina's daughter. Even though
my Mom had been writing resumes for more than 10 years, I didn't
ask for her help until I couldn't land interviews on my own.
Finally, my mom felt sorry for me and coerced me into reading
her book. After reading it and creating a new resume, the first
agency I contacted, looked at my resume and sent me out on an
interview. Within 2 hours I was hired. I started at $7.50.
My next salary move was to a position that paid $11.75
and again Regina came to the rescue by making me go through
all of the skill lists in her book and making me follow one of
her resume formats. The VP/Director of Operations who interviewed
me just kept saying he was very impressed with all my skills.
I left that job to start and manage our websites. Then I wanted
to see what I would be worth in the current job market. With
only 4 months web experience I once again used Regina's strategies
and developed a new resume. Within three weeks I was set-up for
an interview with Microsoft and got an offer to start at $16.00
an hour that same day. After much turmoil I turned down
that job to continue managing the ProvenResumes web sites. Researching
the current job market it looks like I can now expect to land
a job at $35,000+ by continuing to apply the strategies
in Regina's books. |

These strategies have worked
for me twice. Using my first resume I sent out 2, landed 2
interviews and accepted a $30,000 position with a $2,000 sign-on
bonus. And, I was a new graduate! In my next move, I used
the same resume to apply and be hired for a position with a major
international avionics company that started at $37,000. Within
2 years my salary has grown to $50,000. The ProvenResumes
System really does result in great resumes that can help you
land a job you love! |

I faxed my
resume to ads I was interested in. To my amazement, I started
receiving call backs the next day and the job of my dreams with
a 26% salary increase on my first day of interviews.
I would like to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Everyone
should have access to this system (but I'm secretly glad they
don't). |

In one day
of flooding the net with my new and improved resume, I got offered
$45 an hour in Atlanta, $50 an hour in Tulsa, and $60 an
hour in New Jersey. The offer I took was less, but it's
1.6 miles from my home. After being on the job 10 months my employer
dusted off my resume and offered me another position at a 29%
pay increase! ... the money I spent on your book has
easily returned a thousand fold. Smartest I ever invested! |

I landed my current position
as a Computer/Network Specialist which increased my salary
by 10% after using these strategies. Prior to reading
Regina's book, I had sent out numerous resumes and cover letters
with little response. After I used her techniques, I received
3 responses within a week and several more after I landed my
job. Regina's book made resume writing enjoyable and that's pretty
amazing! |

I applied for two positions ...
and got called for interviews on both ads. Today I was
hired on the spot for the second one. I knew that if
I could just get in for an interview I could get the job. I wouldn't
have gotten the interview if not for the strategies presented
in your book! You provide an invaluable service and I, for one,
am most appreciative. |

I hadn't been getting responses,
then rewrote my cover letter following Regina's system which
includes using skill based paragraph headings and I immediately
got a hit. I did another letter highlighting in bold,
key words that I had picked out of the ad and got a hit with
that also. Now I'm rewriting my resume. This system really works! |

I recently purchased your
book and it is exactly what I needed. I was laid off 6 months ago and have been able to
get only 2 interviews. I am a very capable engineer and should
not find it difficult to get my previous salary of $55K. I suspected
that my resume was not delivering the correct message. Your book
has told me why. I have experience in several disciplines and
a chronological resume is a poor way to convey my abilities.
Please keep up the good work. Your writing style is very readable
and the content is "all" substance. That is to say
there is no fluff in the information you provide. I am very pleased
with all that I received for the price! |

Hello Regina, I know you probably
don't remember me, but my name is Mark F. You helped
me put my resume together and as a result I landed a job with
a brokerage firm as an investment representative. They were ranked
the "11th Best Company to Work for in America" by Fortune
Magazine. The month I was hired there were approximately
2300 applications received and less than 200 hired - I was one
of them! And for the most part I owe it all to you. I
used one of your products (Interview Booklet) and services (Resume
Critique) to the fullest. I had a total of 7 interviews with
3 different companies and received an offer from all 3.
The difference was I knew where they were going with their questions
and the skills they were looking for as a result of using your
interviewing booklet. I wish you could have seen me. I was bursting
with enthusiasm and confidence. What a difference being prepared
makes. I think I have come a long ways considering I was 0 for
5 in interviews after graduating from college. Again your services
made the difference - thank you very much.
Based on figures provided by my Regional Manager, I can expect
my projected income this year to go from about $29,000 to about
$50,000 by the end of my second year. Then I can expect to see
about a 30% to 40$ increase in my annual compensation each year
until I reach approximately $100,000 in my fifth year. Monetary
rewards only scratch the surface as 65% of the sales force qualifies
for two all expense paid vacations a year - beautiful places
to choose from around the states and world. Education and training
are second to none in the industry. My employer spends a minimum
of $50K on each new investment representative just in initial
training. And finally the thing that attracted me the most--no
boss! After training my firm will set-up my own personal
branch office in the location of my choice. I chose Clearwater
Beach FL! Sounds too good to be true? I have to pinch myself
everyday.
On a personal note I don't want you to think I am bragging or
gloating over my success. I grew up in a background almost at
the poverty level with an entire family that is less than high
school educated. I think statistically I wasn't supposed to be
where I'm at today. Unlike my fellow colleagues that I graduated
with, I had to finance my entire education on my own. I feel
like I have taken the road of hard knocks to get where I'm at
and it's time for some gratification for my labors.
One of the several major changes you made in my resume critique,
and probably the biggest obstacle I had to overcome was eliminating
the military jargon and translating my duties in civilian language.
Any prior service soldier knows exactly where I am coming from.
I remember in some of my first interviews the difficulties I
had explaining what I did in the Army. A recruiter might ask
me, "What was your job in the Army?" my response, "I
was the NCOIC of a weapons facility." "What were some
of your most important tasks?" my reply, "Well, when
we went on DRF1 (which means deployment ready force) status I
would coordinated with the CO (Company Commander) and 1st Sergeant
(Head Supervisor) to prepare for the mass issuance of equipment
and weapons to the Scouts, Mortars, Medics and Support Platoons.
I know this sounds funny, but this military jargon is everyday
conversation to the soldier. Talk about some confusing and stressful
interviews!
However, after your resume critique and using your interviewing
booklet I was able to communicate my military duties much more
effectively. "What was your job in the service," my
new response, "I was an Operations Managers responsible
for $2.5 million in equipment and supplies."..."What
were some of your most important duties?".."As an Operations
Manager I directed support of 10 internal departments to ensure
that the highest state of readiness and efficiency was achieved
to issue equipment and supplies to a staff of 200 personnel."
Your service and interviewing booklet not only helped me
communicate my skills and duties on paper, but also in my face-to-face
interviews---the most important thing to me. Again,
thanks for much for all your help! |

Using Regina's
system, I've written over 2,000 resumes for clients with incomes
from $20,000 up to $324,000. I've found that her "marketing
approach" works phenomenally well--no matter your income
or salary level. My clients are amazed at the difference in their
before and after resumes. Their confidence soars, they start
seeing their interview rates double or triple, and when they
are offered their dream jobs--well, they're ecstatic! Many
of them land salary offers that increase their income from
several hundred dollars more per month up to $20,000 to $30,000
per year over their old salary levels. Buy this book. You can't
make a better investment in your career! |

Many of my clients from out of state were having trouble getting

they started to get interviews. Also, the Kitsap County employers
like the bullet statements. Keep up the good work! |

couldn't put it down." It's getting started that's so hard

examples really help people pull out and identify their best
skills and this builds confidence and motivation...plus it lands
jobs! |

A typical example that shows
the success of this book is from one of my students who had no
experience in a new field. By using Regina's strategies she was
able to market herself effectively for a management position
in that field. I remember she was so excited because there were
over 30 applicants but she made the top three to be interviewed
and subsequently landed the job. Instructors and counselors at
our college have seen hundreds of success stories
like this one in the last five years. |
